RUDOLPH’S NOSE KNOWS tells the adventure of a little dog who, against all odds, becomes a hero.  Rudolph, born blind and deaf, was the target of ridicule because he continually bumped into things. The other dogs laughed at him and refused to be his friend.  But Rudolph’s life changed when his nose guided him through a heroic feat.  RUDOLPH’S NOSE KNOWS is both a storybook and a coloring book, with clever drawings by cartoonist Steven Katz.

Rudolph is a three year old miniature dachshund, born blind and deaf. Named after the legendary reindeer because his nose guides him through his personal darkness, Rudolph is now trained in basic obedience, enjoys the run of his house, and has a busy and happy life.  This month, Rudolph will attend some classrooms for some special readings of the Rudolph reindeer story as well as
RUDOLPH’S
NOSE KNOWS
.

Marcia Fishman takes Rudolph to schools as children learn the real story of the dog and discuss that teasing and bullying is not right.  Other discussions include: the potentials of a productive life – even with physical challenges. Easy possibilities of volunteerism in a world that needs repairing. Creating goals within reach.
Speaking engagements are not limited to children and classrooms.
